Corkboard and outline

Restructure a long draft by moving section cards; the draft moves with them.

Read the transcript

Restructuring a long draft usually means scrolling through eighty pages, or printing it and cutting it up. In CurTask, every section is a card. Move the card, and the draft moves with it.

Choose Corkboard. Each section is a card with its synopsis, its status and its citations. Write a synopsis yourself, or choose Suggest synopsis.

It stays marked Suggested until you keep it. Drag a card to a new place. The Structure and the compile order follow.

Choose Outline to see the same sections as a table, with words and citations for each. Set each section's status, filter by it, and export the outline as a spreadsheet or Markdown. Your whole draft, at a glance.

That is CurTask.
