Reset a forgotten password

Get a reset link by email and choose a new password.

Forgot your password? CurTask emails you a link to choose a new one. The link works once.

  1. Forgot password? on the sign-in page

    Step 1Choose Forgot password?

    On the Welcome back sign-in page, choose Forgot password? (above the Password field).

  2. Reset your password, with an email typed in

    On Reset your password, type the email you signed up with and choose Send reset link.

    CurTask shows Check your email. For your privacy it says the same thing whether or not an account exists for that address, so check you typed the right one. Can't find the email? Check your spam or junk folder.

  3. Step 3Open the link in the email

    Open the reset email and choose its link. It opens CurTask at Choose a new password.

    If you see This reset link can't be used, the link has expired or was already used. Choose Send a new link and use the newest email.

  4. Step 4Choose a new password

    Type your New password (at least 8 characters; a short sentence is easy to remember and hard to guess) and type it again in Confirm new password. Choose Save new password.

    You will see Your password has been changed. If you turned on two-factor authentication, you still need a code from your app on new devices.

    Tip: too many wrong passwords pause sign-in for a few minutes (Too many attempts). Wait for the countdown, or reset your password.
