Creating an account takes a few minutes. You can use your Google account or an email and password. After that, signing in is the same page each time: Welcome back, at app.curtask.com.

  1. The sign-in page, then Create your account

    Step 1Open the sign-up page

Open the link in your invite email. It opens Create your account, with your invited email already filled in and the note that CurTask invited you.

You can also go to the sign-in page and choose Start free.

  2. Typing an email and a password on Create your account

Step 2Choose Google, or an email and password

    • Continue with Google signs you up with your Google account. Use the Google account that has your invited email.
    • Or type your Email and a Password of at least 8 characters. A short sentence is easy to remember and hard to guess; the bar under the field shows how strong it is.

The rest of the form is optional: How did you hear about CurTask?, I want the student price (with your university email, see The Student plan) and product news by email.

Choose Create account. By creating an account you agree to the Terms of service and the Privacy policy.

  3. Check your email

    Step 3Confirm your email

If you signed up with an email and password, CurTask shows Check your email. Open the link in that email, on the same device, to finish creating your account.

Can't find it? Check your spam or junk folder, or choose Send the link again. If you used Google, there is no email to confirm.

  4. Step 4Agree to the End-User Agreement

The first time you sign in, CurTask shows Before you start with the End-User Agreement, in plain words first. Read it, tick I have read and agree to the End-User Agreement. and choose I agree.

You only do this once (and again only if the agreement changes). You can read it any time on the End-User Agreement page of our website.

  5. Step 5Protect your account, then start

CurTask suggests two-factor authentication with Protect your account. Choose Set up two-factor to do it now (it takes about two minutes, see Turn on two-factor authentication), or Do this later.

You arrive on Home, where your projects and your Global Library will be.

Tip: next time, sign in on the Welcome back page with Continue with Google or your email and password. Forgot it? See Reset a forgotten password.
