Step by step
See and sign out your devices
Check where your account is signed in, sign out a device you don't recognise, and look over recent sign-ins.

- 2 minutes

Every browser where you are signed in to CurTask is listed in Settings → Security. If you see one you don't recognise, or you left yourself signed in on a shared computer, you can sign it out from here.

Step 1Open Settings, then Security
Choose Settings (the gear in the rail, bottom left), then Security. You can also open the account menu (your initials, top right) and choose Security.

Step 2Read the list of devices
Sessions and devices shows how many places you are signed in, then one line for each: the browser and system, roughly where, and when it was last used. The device you are using now is first and says this device.
If you turned on two-factor and chose to trust a device, its line says Trusted until a date. Choose Stop trusting to have it ask for a code again at the next sign-in.
The Save to CurTask browser extension, once connected, has its own line with Disconnect.
Step 3Sign out one device
Choose Sign out on the device's line. It happens straight away, with no extra question, and CurTask confirms that the device will be signed out within 15 minutes.
Tip: signing out another device doesn't change your password. If you think someone knows your password, change it too (see below), and turn on two-factor.

Step 4Or sign out every other device
Choose Sign out all other devices, then confirm. Every other browser and app is signed out within 15 minutes. The device you are using stays signed in.

Step 5Check recent activity
Recent activity lists sign-ins and security changes in the last 90 days: Signed in, New device signed in, Failed sign-in attempt, Two-factor turned on, Password changed and more, each with the device and time.
A sign-in you don't recognise? Sign that device out, then change your password.
Step 6Change your password
Under Sign-in methods, beside Email and password, choose Change password, type your new password twice and choose Save password. If you sign in with Google, Sign-in methods shows Google with your email and Connected; that password is the one you keep with Google.
What's next
- Turn on two-factor authentication, so a password alone can't open your account.
- Reset a forgotten password.
