Find papers

Search two of the largest research catalogues at once and save what you find to your library.

Read the transcript

A literature review starts with finding the right papers, usually across a dozen tabs and databases. CurTask searches two of the world's largest research catalogues at once, OpenAlex and Semantic Scholar. Only your search words are sent, never your papers or notes.

In your library, choose Discover papers. Type a topic, a title, an author or a DOI, and press Search. Narrow the results by year, type or open access, and sort by relevance, newest or most cited.

Tick the papers you want. Each one shows whether a free PDF comes with it. Choose Import.

Importing uses no credits, and open-access PDFs are downloaded for you. Inside a project, Find similar papers suggests more papers like the ones you already have. Search wide, import in one go.

That is CurTask.
