Download all your data or delete your account

Get one file with everything in your account, or delete your account and still restore it within 90 days.

Your work belongs to you. You can take a full copy of it at any time, and you can delete your account whenever you want to leave.

Both are on one page: Settings → Profile.

    Open Settings and choose Profile. Scroll down to Your data.

    Choose Download all my data. CurTask starts Preparing your data… in the background.

    You can leave the page and keep working. "We'll tell you here and by email when it's ready."

    When it's ready, the Your data section says Your copy is ready, with its size, the date it is available until, and how many papers, projects and manuscripts it holds. Choose Download.

    The copy is one ZIP file in open formats, with a guide to each file in English and Bahasa Melayu. It has your profile and settings, your papers with their files and text, your notes, codes, matrices (with the page and quote behind each AI value), synthesis, manuscripts, references, credits and invoices.

    Note: each copy is deleted from CurTask after 7 days. You can ask for one new copy a day: after you ask, Download all my data is greyed out and the page says when you can ask again.

  4. The Delete account section

    Step 4To leave: delete your account

    If you want to leave CurTask, choose Delete account… under Delete account, read the message, and choose Delete my account.

    Your account is locked straight away and you are signed out on every device.

    Tip: download your data first. Once your account is deleted, you can't download it any more.

  5. Step 5Changed your mind? Restore within 90 days

    For 90 days you can get everything back: sign in again, and CurTask shows Your account is scheduled for deletion. Choose Restore my account.

    After 90 days your papers, notes, codes and writing are deleted permanently. Invoices are kept for 7 years, as tax law requires. The privacy policy lists everything that is kept and for how long.
